Santorum was defeated by a wide margin for re-election in the 2006 U.S. Senate election by Democratic candidate Bob Casey, Jr.. His defeat shows a widespread rejection of his policies which mirrors George W. Bush.The jerk doesn't even bother to LIVE in the state of Pennsylvania.

He has a house in Penn Hills he uses when he's here. Just like Every Other congressional jerk, he lives in DC area most of the time. Oh well, he'll make 10 times his current salary when BC is sworn in.
